Legend of the Yellow Crane

Once upon a time, there was an old man who ran a small eatery near the river. One day, a priest came to the place and asked for a drink. The old man was kind-hearted and offered him food and wine for free. The priest, grateful for the old man's generosity, promised to repay him. He drew a picture of a yellow crane on the wall of the eatery and told the old man that whenever he clapped his hands, the crane would come to life and dance.

The priest's words turned out to be true. Whenever the old man clapped his hands, the crane would descend from the wall and perform a beautiful dance and teach everyone around how to move gracefully. This magical crane attracted many customers to the place, making the old man prosperous.

Years later, the priest returned to the shop. He clapped his hands, and the crane descended from the wall. He mounted the crane and flew away, never to be seen again. It is said that the yellow crane returns once every thousand years.

This legend is a significant cultural symbol, representing friendship, immortality, and the mystical interplay between the human and the divine.
